Our mission is to engage young adults with the gospel, challenge them to think deeply and find their supreme satisfaction in Christ, and develop godly leaders by equipping them with resources to lead others in Christlikeness and multiply disciple-makers in their homes, churches, and communities.

Our vision is to see a generation of young adults transformed by the gospel, satisfied in Christ, and faithfully reproducing themselves by engaging the lost and discipling the next generation to become disciplers for the future church.

Values

Commitment to Truth

We believe the claims of Scripture are true because they are from God and correspond to reality, even though our understanding of them may be incomplete. The Bible contains completely true and authoritative propositions, but its truth cannot be limited to propositional statements. God's truth is expansive, and its scope is sometimes beyond our comprehension, yet we live in a covenantal relationship with God, wholly submitted to His reality as the Maker of all things.

Theology in Relationship

We believe we learn about God and ourselves through intergenerational relationships anchored in Scripture, so we started Emet Ministries to help others learn how to become disciple makers. We've found the best way to learn about God and the truth of Scripture is by deep, impactful relationships with others, and we seek to provide resources to help you learn how to do theology in relationship across multiple generations. 

Christ in Everything

We believe the Bible teaches that the good news of Jesus Christ is about His victory over sin, death, and the Evil One for all who believe and the renewal of all creation. We equip people to think about the reign of Jesus Christ in every aspect of life, including business, art, government, school, and the home. Christ is in everything, and in Him all things hold together.

Statement of Faith

The Godhead is one existing eternally in three distinct and divine persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God is fully omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent without the need for anything. He is the creator of heaven and earth, and the universe’s existence is solely the result of his creative and providential work.

Jesus Christ is the God-Man. Being fully God and fully man he lived a perfect life without sin. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. On the third day, Jesus Christ was raised from the grave, then ascended into heaven where he is seated at the right hand of God the Father. From there he will come again to judge the living and the dead.

The Spirit is fully divine and is the third person of the Godhead. He eternally proceeds from the Father and the Son. He indwells all believers, is the sole cause of regeneration, and works in and through us in sanctification.

Man was created by God uniquely apart from other creatures. Man and woman have been equally made in God’s image, but as a result of the Fall, man’s nature is marred towards iniquity and in need of redemption through Jesus Christ.

The Church is made up of all those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ. The Church is one body seeking to proclaim the glories of Christ to the lost world, and functionally serves as the means of community for the people of God.

The only way of salvation is through faith alone in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If one confesses with their mouth and believes in their heart that Jesus is Lord, they will be saved.

The Bible is God’s inspired word, being truly God breathed. It is infallible and without error in its original autographs.
