Who We Are

Our passion is equipping the next generation of leaders to be committed to scriptural truth, Christian discipleship, and intergenerational relationships. We want to find leaders like this for the church and for generations to come, and we want to see how the Lord uses them.

How It Started

The Lord led Jeff to create Emet Ministries in January 2023.

After a long and successful career in law and banking, Jeff pivoted to full-time ministry and devoted himself fully to what he had already been doing. Jeff’s devotion to the next generation dates to 1984, when he started teaching the college Sunday school class at Westwood Church. For years, Jeff has been devoted to multi-generational discipleship, teaching a Saturday-morning Bible Study for young men and helping the next generation learn to navigate the culture from a biblical worldview. Christian came to Evansville in 2015 to attend the University of Southern Indiana and, two years later, providentially met Jeff in a Chick-fil-A line before attending the Saturday-morning study. Through their rich, shared history of friendship and discipleship, taking the next step of starting Emet Ministries together was a no-brainer. Together, they are deeply committed to seeing people in the local church discipled to be devoted followers of Jesus who impact the people and communities around them for generations to come.

A New Front for Ministry

Emet Campus Ministry Started in 2026

As Emet Ministries developed resources and invested in the next generation, its mission became increasingly clear. The cultural moment revealed an urgent need: Gen Z needs the gospel, faithful discipleship, and leaders who will equip them to become disciple-makers themselves. With a desire to reach the universities in Evansville with the gospel and disciple the students already there, God opened the door for Emet to partner with another campus ministry and bring four evangelists onto staff. From that opportunity, Emet Campus Ministry was born. Emet Campus Ministry exists to engage young adults with the gospel, challenge them to think deeply and be supremely satisfied in Christ, and multiplythemselves by equipping them to become disciple-makers in their homes, churches, and communities.
